Already the third generation of the Westphalian Kleeschulte family operates an agricultural trade and storage company in Büren. Here, responsible handling of natural resources takes place on a daily basis. Sustainability is an integral part of the entire production process here.
Rape oils in Germany
Rape plants are the No. 1 suppliers of edible oil in Germany. Currently approx. 1.4 million hectares of rape are cultivated each year throughout Germany. The harvested rape seeds contain around 40 % oil. The remaining components are processed to animal fodder.
Rape oil – healthy energy supplier
The sustainably extracted edible oil is not only tasty, it is also rich in vitamin E and both omega-3 and omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids. And furthermore, the ratio of omega-3 to omega-6-fatty acids is excellent. The tasty rapeseed oil proves itself to be one of the healthiest vegetable oils in terms of nutrition physiology.
Besides being used in human and animal nutrition, rape is processed to biodiesel in Germany and is used as an industrial oil.
Sunflower oil in Germany
Sunflower oil contains around 45 % oil. With its light yellow colour and particularly mild taste, it is popular for use in domestic kitchens and the food industry.

Cold pressed sunflower oil is characterised by the highest vitamin E content of our vegetable oils. Furthermore, sunflower oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which in turn contribute to a healthy diet.
